De siste ukene ser det imidlertid ut til å ha vokst frem en helt ny type fredsaktivister. Mennesker som inntil nylig var meg helt ukjente. De synes heller ikke synes å ha noen koblinger til de tradisjonelle fredsaktivistene.
Disse nykommerne på fredsscenen skilter gjerne med sin høyt utviklede kritiske sans. Spesielt kritiske er de til anerkjente, redaktørstyrte media. Men det som virkelig skiller disse aktivistene fra naive tullinger som tror på nedrustning og folkerettslige regler, er at de ikke er så lett å påtreffe i den fysiske verden. Det er ikke disse folkene som tilbringer lørdagen på stand, eller som trasker gatene rundt med signaturlister. De nye fredsaktivistene er stort sett kun å finne på nett. Fortrinnsvis i kommentarfelt under nyhetssaker om invasjonen av Ukraina. De snakker gjerne om verdensfred i samme åndedrag som sjelefred. Profilbildet deres er ofte rammet inn av en tekst som opplyser at de har Natural immunity.
Mange av dem synes å ha et intenst forhold til en slags kristen gudsforestilling. Andre et like altoppslukende forhold til enda mer eteriske idéer. De synes å ha alle slags mulige forskjellige yrker. Alt fra salg av såkalt helsekost, via yogainstruktører, til healere. Flere oppgir også å være lysarbeidere. Undertegnede tar takknemlig imot en forklaring på hvordan dette yrket arter seg.
Så hva er det egentlig disse nye fredsaktivistene gjør? Helt konkret, altså. Jo, de stiller spørsmål. Mange spørsmål. Det er til gjengjeld bare det de gjør.
Hvordan kan du stole på BBC?
Hva er propaganda?
Hørt om Azov-bataljonen?
Hvem kan skille en ondskap fra en annen?
Er ikke buksene på han som ligger på bakken mistenkelig tørre til å ha ligget ute en stund?
Ser ikke de tårene veldig falske ut?
Er ikke han der Zelensky skuespiller?
