Rosa kompetanse i bedehusland

Verden har trolig aldri vært nærmere atomkrig. Hetebølgene i kjøvannet av klimaendringene tar liv og gjør store deler av Europa ubeboelig. Stormakten USA smuldrer opp som liberalt demokrati. Det russiske overfallet på en nabostat har lagt for dagen en nær utenkelig bestialitet. Her hjemme strever vi med de ødeleggende følgene av uværet Hans. Og å huse titusener av ukrainere som har måttet flykte fra okkupasjon, bomber og tilsiktet flomkatastrofe.

Arrangørene av Oslo Symposium 2023 er Kristen Media Norge (-ja, de skriver det faktisk slik!) og Internasjonale Kristne Ambassade Jerusalem. Bedhuskanalen var samarbeidspartner. Ifølge programmet tror de at det er makt i de foldede hender. Og nå ville de komme sammen for å snakke om nasjonens fremtid, og de veivalg og utfordringer vi står overfor.

Dømmekraft ville gjerne høre hvilke løsninger denne delen av kristenlandskapet kunne tilby, og kjøpte like godt billett til hele evenementet. To feststemte dager som vi tror skal skape glød, optimisme og fremtidstro. Første dag var i dag, fredag 18.08.23. Første bolk het Verdivalg i 2023.

Etter å ha passert et stort israelsk flagg på vei inn i konferansesalen, ble man møtt av en enda større knallrosa flate på skjermen bak scenen. Undertegnede måtte trekke litt på smilebåndet da det hele gav kraftige rosa kompetanse-vibber. Rosa kompetanse var ikke akkurat hva man forventet å finne her. Spesielt ikke etter å ha snakket med andre deltakere som ivrig fortalte om politisk tilhørighet godt til høyre for samtlige partier på Stortinget.

Kjønn, kjønn – og friskoler

Så feil kan man ta! Dette var en forsamling som, ihvertfall selv, mente å ha mye rosa kompetanse! Bjarte Ystebø snakket om oppløsningen av kjernefamilien og det politisk korrekt-presset man nå opplever, spesielt hver juni. Politiker Truls Olufsen-Mehus adresserte talen sin til kjære hankjønn og hunnkjønn, og fortsatte deretter med å snakke om nettopp … kjønn. Redaktør Vebjørn Selbekk snakket om konsekvensene av kjønnsskifte. Den unge politikeren Joel Ystebø snakket om trans. Sogneprest Sverre Elgvin Lied snakket om skadelig radikal kjønnsteori. Influenser Daniel Sæbjørnsen snakket om den gangen han helbredet en klassekamerat ved bønn. Og, ungdom som har blitt forvirret om kjønn. Kun Kfr-politiker Dag Inge Ulstein snakket om noe annet; økonomiske støtteordninger til kristne friskoler og frivillige organisasjoner.

Både Ap-politiker Hadia Tajik og sosiolog Harald Eia hadde sporty takket ja til å bli intervjuet fra scenen. Begge begrunnet dette med et ønske om åpen samfunnsdialog. Og begge var opptatt av hver sine forskjellige hjertesaker. Det hjalp lite. Bjarte Ystebø ville, ikke overraskende, vite hva de mente om kjønn. Og det fikk vi vite. De var visst ikke like bekymret som resten av salen.

Resten av dagen er viet spørsmål relatert til Israel, og i kveld skal Kåre Kristiansens Minnepris deles ut. Undertegnede lurer selvsagt på hvordan også dette kan kobles til kjønn. Det får vi kanskje svar på senere. Ifølge programmet skal morgendagen innledes ved Sylvi Listhaugs tanker om hvordan man kan skape et samfunn med rom for alle. Jeg tror mange asylsøkere fra islamistiske regimer kan være interesserte i å høre nærmere om dette.
